Acheampong Law PC is committed to providing information and services in a way that respects dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity. The website is being designed with accessibility as an ongoing requirement, not a one-time design check.

Our accessibility approach

The website aims to follow recognized accessibility practices, including accessible colour contrast, keyboard operation, visible focus indicators, meaningful headings, descriptive links, text alternatives for informative images, responsive reflow, labelled form controls and reduced-motion support.

Technical target

As a design and development target, the site aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA where practical. Ontario’s website rules under the AODA specifically require WCAG 2.0 Level AA for designated public-sector organizations and businesses or non-profits with 50 or more employees, subject to the regulation’s exceptions. The firm is using an AA-oriented approach regardless of whether that employee threshold applies.

Ongoing review

Accessibility should be tested again after the final CMS, forms, scheduling tools, cookie controls, analytics and other integrations are installed, and periodically after launch as content and technology change.
